Yesterday morning, my friend Rosie and I packed gallon-sized bags for our deployed service members. Rosie and her husband, Joe, are lifelong friends of my family. Joe and his unit are currently deployed. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, friends, and family, we were able to include a wide variety of much-appreciated items, such as candy, beef jerky, pistachios, sunflower seeds, and more! Plus, Joe got personal items. These morale-boosting packs help remind our deployed personnel that they are appreciated and remembered. Obviously, photos on base are limited.
