The Prayer Shawl action team donated 30 prayer shawls to the Haven of Grace, which provides shelter, education, and support for unhoused mothers in St. Louis. We spend time together (and on our own) praying over our crochet and knitting projects so people can be wrapped in prayer when they need it most. Whatever the prayer need, our shawls can bring prayer into the lives of anyone who needs a little extra love. To date, we have donated more than 200 shawls for reasons including sickness, treatment, the loss of a loved one, heading to college, and a new baby. Whatever the reason, we find tremendous joy in wrapping people in the warmth of prayer.
